With a music scene heavily relying on imported heavyweight brands on its dancefloors, the challenge of branding Lebanon’s first homegrown festival was not an easy task.
With the team at Agosto having launched their first edition a year prior, we went all hand-in-hand together for the second year with a set of new objectives to achieve: build a more dynamic brand that respects local contexts, shift the audience perception from the previous year to a more trendy, colorful and mature feel, and give Agosto a new story angle and image that is more representative of the now and where it should be heading next. With that in mind, we built an identity that pops out as standalone, homegrown yet worldly, big yet so intimate; and co-exists with the local and international artists and brands hosted at the festival.

We used the A as a monogram to strongly identify the brand at a glance, and mixed Music and the Mzaar Mountain peaks into a strong and bold icon. The color palette spanned from light beige to electric Blue, strongly representing the different elements that make the festival what it is today: the sunrise, the land, the daytime vibe, the greenery, the sunset, the bonfire, up until the late hours of the night.
We went into creating all the brand and marketing collaterals for the brand, from the launching campaign and digital assets, up until the entrance bracelets, banners, and top-up booths inside the festival grounds.
