The nightlife in Beirut has its key players all set. Veteran nightclubs functioning like revenue-driven factories, sharing the entire pie, apart from the occasional off-events here and there. But a new player was about to shake the boat and make giant (sound) waves. The disruptive newcomer: The Ballroom Blitz.
Born out of a need for a true and genuine music experience built around music itself, the venue boasted 3 rooms that had a unique sound imprint and agenda. What really sets it apart from others is how you experience the space as well as its acoustics, with a first in the region Hi-Fi sound system.
Ahead of its opening, our expertise, passion and know-how in the music industry went all-in into the strategy for this new project. After carefully mapping out the competitive landscape, and set the brand ethos, we helped pinpoint the communication personality of the venue, set a clear marketing strategy for the year to come and even supported in crafting the distinctive sonic imprint of each room.
With our newly set objectives, we handled the club’s entire communication through a creative and engaging content strategy. This spilled over onto novel marketing and event ideas, and creating effective tactical campaigns to keep the momentum going.
As a closure to nothing shy of a stellar first season, the venue organized one of its biggest events with the world’s leading music broadcasting platform: Boiler Room. This success shed a global light on Lebanese homegrown talents, which is a deeply rooted value and goal in The Ballroom Blitz ethos.
