In the heart of an emerging region of Beirut soon to be called Soho Beirut, GardenState a restaurant/bar has been opening its doors every summer to a trendy and alternative crowd. With different themed nights needing to be communicated, the challenge was to maintain a harmonized visual approach.
This bar is truly a unique green escape in a concrete jungle. Therefore, we created GardenState of Mind: our communication platform for the season. This came to highlight the well being one finds when surrounded by such greenery and nature.
After research and mood-boarding, we held a photoshoot in collaboration with LE66 concept store, Vanina Apparel, Spektre Sunglasses and several industry influencers to support our communication platform with imagery.
This spread out onto the design of the menu, the communication, the social media content as well as a short publication created for the launch event. The visual approach was based on merging monochromatic patches of color with the images. The social media content along the season was a variety of posters, GIFs, animations and videos, that adapted during the season.
During Beirut Design Week, and given the theme was Growing Sustainability, we held an event at the venue in which we revealed the pictures from our shoot, showcasing our spirit of the season, which revolved around being in a perpetual harmony with nature.
