Brummana has always been a summer haven for Lebanese families as well as tourists. Unfortunately, in the past few years it had experienced a sort of recession, witnessing less and less visits and slowly fading into the shadows. The municipality asked us to develop a fresh identity for their beloved city, in order to jumpstart the summer season.
With many plans and projects in the works, Brummana was about to know a boom in terms of new ventures this summer, and the face of the town had to reflect just that. The exercise began with a profound analysis of its nature.
Although it is nestled in the mountains and has the greenery of a Lebanese village, Brummana is a registered city and has all the accommodation and infrastructure a city has. By adding to the mix the worldly character of the flux of tourists and locals who spent their summers there, one trait had suddenly made itself obvious. Brummana, its attractions, visitors, and people were all Cosmopolitan. Brummana is the only cosmopolitan mountain city.
All while maintaining brand recognition through graphics, we uplifWe then went onto developing a logo and branding that would translate this idea into imagery. It was crucial to specify what the city had to offer, and so after laying down all its benefits services and activities, we came up with four categories:
LIVE Brummana, as it is the home of excellent and reputable schools, and offers high quality housing and office spaces.
SHARE Brummana , due to the welcome culture that defines the city through the many restaurants and hotels where countless memories have been made.
EXPLORE Brummana, pushing forward the touristic aspect of the city with the many historic and religious attractions it has to offer.
BREATHE Brummana, to emphasize on its nature, greenery, fresh air and outdoor activities.
