Bringing Hawaiian vibes to Lebanon, Malolo was the first poke bar to open its doors in Beirut. At the time, the concept was new to the market and the challenge we took on consisted of introducing poke to the community and informing people about the superfood that it is through a diverse communication strategy.
The communication was supported by professional food and lifestyle photoshoots, highlighting the Make Your Own Bowl option and the many colorful bowls. Marketing efforts were backed by an influencers’ outreach where foodies and bloggers were contacted and invited to the parlor to experience and enjoy the superfood.
After the huge success in Beirut, we helped Malolo open its first branch in Dubai and set the communication guidelines to fit the Emirati target audience.
